Who knows, I thought, maybe, what I’m storytelling to them will change the Jew-haters, tear the fangs out of their souls? Yes, if I explain them the evil they did to a little child, by them suddenly shattered with misfortune, if they read this book to the end, they will understand, I told myself, and they will be ashamed of their wickedness, and they will love us.
