The hearing and the shame are the same thing by Pascal Quignard

Hearing and shame are twins. In the Bible, in the Genesis account, anthropomorph nudity and the hearing of “the sound of His footsteps” occur at the same time.
After having eaten the tree that denudes’ fruit, the first man and the first woman, at the same time, hear the sound of Yahweh-Elohim walking in the garden in the breeze of the day and see that they are naked and take refuge to hide their bodies behind the leaves of the tree that clothes.
Together arrive the soundy trouble and the sexual shame in the Eden.
The vision and the nudity, the hearing and the shame are the same thing.
To see and to hear are the same instant and this instant is immediately the end of the Paradise.
